This text below was take from a http://chromedomezone.com blog. It echoes the views of the uscommando.com website. If you study the "ART of WAR" you know why we are in Iraq.

Asking for world approval before America takes action is like asking your neighbors how you should raise your own kids in your own home. The same thing goes for pre-emptive action in a foreign country. If you know your neighbor around the block has a plan to harm your family, you would do something (anything) to protect them (and yourself, no less) even if it meant taking action to stop your neighbor first.

In other words, the day America gives up its own sovereignty for world favoritism, or any reason for that matter, is the day America dies. I believe the vast majority of Americas understand this concept – a concept entirely alien to most of the world, and radical left-wingers.

I think the bottom line is, the reason why the ‘rest of the world’ hates America is because we are a world superpower, and they have no power over us, or what we do. And they hate us for it. It’s a world-wide power game. That’s all there is to it. If things were different and, let’s say Russia became the world super-power, everyone would be focusing all their energies on what Russia was doing wrong in the eyes of the rest of the world.

I like to think of it this way…America is at the top. And, when you’re at the top, it’s lonely. When other countries choose to befriend us and take our side, I consider it a bonus. When they don’t, in the long run, it’s no loss.

As for Iraq, Saddam’s time was coming. It was going to be sooner or later. No one knew what to expect when we went in, though we knew there was the possibility of a civil war – which was the very reason we didn’t take Saddam out in 91. As for it being a part of the war on terrorism, my observation is that no matter where we would have went in next – Syria, Iran, Outer Mongolia, terrorist thugs would eventually meet us wherever we showed up. I truly believe that.  Maybe not North Korea – but then, you never just know... Also, Iraq makes for a good launching pad into Iran. With Afghanistan on the other side, we've got them surrounded for future plans.
